Comfy and Charming
The villas at Chiang Mai Summer Resort really exceeded our expectations. After coming from crazy Bangkok, it was like a deep breath and an oasis to pause and relax. Each villa is surrounded by a charming garden with eclectic features including a Koi Pond, providing a serene atmosphere. The private balcony was my favorite spot to unwind, especially under the shade of a huge mango tree.

I had a lovely stay at this resort which offered a unique experience with its traditional Thai-style houses. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quite charming, and I appreciated having a separate space that I could use for yoga or reading. The service was warm and accommodating, with management always willing to assist with arranging activities. However, while the location was great, being just a few minutes from the Sunday market, there were times it felt a bit too quiet for my liking. Overall, it was a good value for money.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and featured a charming traditional Thai style. I especially loved having a smaller room next to the main bedroom that I used as a yoga and reading studio.
The team was very kind and helpful, readily lending a hand and even setting up a large table for us in the garden.
The resort is in a nice position, only a few minutes' walk to the Sunday market and located on a quiet alley, which made it feel away from the bustle but still accessible.
While I didn't mind the breakfast being simple as I wanted to explore local eateries, I felt that more variety would have been nice considering the price.
The facilities were well-kept, with a pleasant open sitting area that had loungers and tables—perfect for relaxation.

My stay at this resort was quite enjoyable overall, offering a unique experience with its traditional Thai-style rooms that are truly charming and spacious. The service was attentive and caring, making sure all my needs were met promptly. However, while the location is peaceful, it took a bit of time to get to some of the main attractions. The dining options could use a bit more variety, especially for breakfast. Overall, the value for money is evident in the quality and comfort provided.
I really loved the traditional Thai-style rooms, which were clean and spacious, featuring a cozy little yoga or reading studio adjacent to the main bedroom. They had excellent Wi-Fi and a good TV setup.
The service was quite remarkable; they greeted me at the door and swiftly showed me to my room, and were always around to assist when needed, even setting up a lovely table in the garden for my use.
The location was great as it felt tranquil and away from the bustling tourist spots, yet a short walk led me to the Sunday market and the vibrant south gate area.
The breakfast options left me wanting more since I was eager to try local restaurants instead after several days of hotel meals.
The overall facilities were good, but I didn't find anything particularly standout aside from the lovely garden area.

My stay at this resort was quite enjoyable, offering unique rooms designed in traditional Thai style, which added a special charm to the experience. The service was exceptional, with the staff being very helpful and accommodating. The location is good as it’s away from the busy tourist traps but still provides easy access to the old town. However, the breakfast could use some improvement, and I found it disappointing that it wasn't included in the price.
Each room is a lovely, unique house in traditional Thai style that provides a comfortable space to relax. I appreciated having a separate yoga or reading studio next to the bedroom.
The service was nothing short of amazing; they were incredibly helpful and even provided supplies for us to make breakfast. I must say, the staff were really nice, though there was a bit of a language barrier at times.
Situated in a peaceful area away from the main road, the location is just right for enjoying the old town while still feeling secluded. The open sitting area with hammocks and loungers was a delightful touch.
While the breakfast provided was decent, I was eager to explore local restaurants so it didn't bother me much that it wasn’t elaborate.
The resort amenities were well-maintained and added to the overall charm of the stay. There was ample open space to relax under the trees, which was lovely.

I had a lovely stay at this resort, enjoying the cozy rooms with hammocks and lounging spaces. The location was perfect, tucked away from the crowds yet close to all the local attractions. Service was quick and helpful, although communication could be challenging at times. Overall, it's a fantastic value for the price, but some amenities could be improved.
The rooms were beautifully designed with hammocks and couches to relax and watch TV. I appreciated the additional space for yoga or reading; it really made my stay enjoyable.
The staff met us at the door and quickly showed us to our room. They were incredibly helpful with booking tours and navigating the area. However, the language barrier was sometimes a bit of a hurdle.
The resort is ideally situated away from the tourist hotspots yet only a short walk to the Sunday market and other local sites in the old town. I loved the open sitting area that added to the charm.
The resort had comfortable amenities, including a lovely open area for lounging, though I wished the pool facilities were a bit more extensive.

I had a lovely stay in a unique resort that truly captures traditional Thai style. The rooms were charming and well-maintained, perfect for relaxation. The service was attentive, with helpful hospitality, although the breakfast offerings were a bit basic. I loved the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by beautiful gardens that created a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, but I wish the location was slightly closer to main attractions.
The rooms were lovely and unique, each designed in traditional Thai style, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. There was even a cozy yoga and reading studio next to the main bedroom, complete with a hammock and couch.
The service was provided by a very kind gentleman who was helpful in every way, ensuring we had bottled water and breakfast supplies. He greeted us warmly upon arrival and assisted us with any questions without hesitation.
The resort is located in a peaceful area that's away from tourist crowds but still easily accessible to the old town. This made for a relaxing stay while being close enough to explore the local culture.
Breakfast was a simple selection and didn't quite meet my expectations, but it didn’t bother me much as I was excited to explore local eateries instead.
The facilities were adequate yet could use some enhancement, particularly in the dining area, which felt somewhat lacking in variety.
